A short-term Multiple Entry Visa can be extended for 30 days/extension, twice with a cost of AED 960. Guests below 18 years can only apply for this visa type if they travel with their parents, holding the same kind of visa. The visa validity is 60 days, with a 30-day duration (starting from the first entry date). This multiple entry visa costs AED 650.

Before you travel, you’d need to apply for a tourist visa. You need to have a minimum passport validity of 6 months to get this visa. With an extension fee of AED 960/extension, this visa can be extended for 30 days, twice. This single entry visa costs AED 350.

The multiple-entry long-term visit visa stays valid for 90 days. If you wish to stay longer in the UAE with multiple travels, this visa is suitable for you. This visa can be extended for 30 days, twice with a cost of AED960/extension. The visa validity is 60 days with a 90-day duration (from the first entry date). This is a multiple-entry visa that will cost AED 2500.

Eligibility and Requirements

If you wish to apply, the documents required for a tourist visa from Dubai are enlisted below.

Renewal

All types of tourist and visit visas can be extended twice for 30 more days once you apply for it and get approval from the related authorities. You wouldn’t need to exit the country for an extension. 

Tourists and visitors are permitted to apply for a second renewal. This, however, needs to be done before the first one expires. For each renewal, the cost is 600 AED. Overstayers who don’t renew the visa will need to pay a fine of 100AED/day of the overstay; the calculation is ten days after the expiry date of the visa. 

These rules of extension don’t apply to the categories below.
